Inspired by this LA thread I'd like to have a place at ILM where to talk about concerts taking place in the Rhein-Main region. I know there are only few people interested but still. I have never met anybody posting on ILM at a show. And I like to meet people.

Next concert I will attend: Kings of Convenience at the Mousonturm next Sunday (November, 28th).

Good idea, Alex. I'll keep checking the thread. The Mousonturm is a great venue -- saw Mouse on Mars there the other evening and they brought their own soundman who did a lousy job, while the in-house guy who did sound for Jason Forrest was terrific. Ha!

I've never been to Frankfurt, but who know, if I ever do I will check this thread. Would be nice to have a beer and chat, Alex! :-)

Although I can only wish I were there, I really enjoyed Heidelberg's Karlstorbahnhof when I was. (I realize I'm making the illogical assumption that a) you didn't already know about it and b) you'd trek there for the hell of it.)

Hi everybody. I have never been to the Karlstorbahnhof but I have heard good things and there are good bands playing there. It's a little far to go there for a concert though (about 100 km).

Willem, the beer from Frankfurt is shite. But they have cider here which is an acquired taste but I kind of like it. I really love it when people try to order beer in a Ebbelwoi (cider) venue and they tell them to go over to Bavaria for beer. Which is right actually because it is much better there. So we could have a Weißbier or two. And chat of course.
