I've not been as excited about a UK mc since "I luv U". Trim is sooooo good. He's got this really rich, treacly voice, with a kind of lazy fifty cent cadence to it that sounds great with a london accent. He chucks about 50 quotable lines into each track e.g. "I sleep in hooded jim jams".
And he's in Roll Deep, which means Wiley beats.
Does anybody know if he's got any more releases coming up? Or heard him live or on radio?

They're a great duo, aren't they? I've noticed they're often in proximity on Roll Deep tracks, and the contrast works really well - Scratchy's slightly nerdy rapier neurosis switching to Trim's bleary indifferent menace.
This generally is what is so great about Roll Deep and co, and grime generally. Please no more of the critical Riko Fallacy which produces MCs like Dogzilla; more unusual voices and wit! (nb. I actually do like Riko, I just wish that people would talk more about e.g. his dready vocals and less about how his lyrics encapsulate working class existential dilemma etc. etc.)
Adam OTM about "Choke" - "I got weed in my system/to weed I'm a victim!"

Yes, in the sense of never having heard it.
That Riko/Target tune "Hands Up" is very weak in this sense yeah, but I love "Dead That" with God's Gift - although perhaps more for God's Gift. Flo Dan is better than both of course!

If the album is anything to go by the aforementioned dick has gone well and truly limp and is now collaborating with James Blake.
What with this and the Flowdan album it's weird how it seems to be all the old signifiers of realness doing the weakest shit in 2016. I mean at least Tempa T sounds like he's having fun doing his route one Chase & Status rock bosh shit.
