Impossible for me, Easy for you...

Folks,
I'm am trying to write some biog-blurb to accompany the launch of my album.

There is a question that I have always found VERY difficult to answer. People ask me this question, and I go "Err... I don't know" and feel a bit like I "should" be able to answer this question, but just can't.

... and the question is: "What do you sound like?" ....

Seriously, I really don't know what to say when people ask me this, they look at me expectantly. The best I can think to say is "Er.. it's kind of acoustic and electronic", "Original", or "maybe I sound a bit like..." (but the artist I give is never like me)

You could REALLY help me here, by answering one or more of these three "easy" questions ;)

Question 1: Who do I sound like?

Question 2: What style is it?

Question 3: Describe my music in one short sentence...

There are 3 samples from my music here

(BTW - The current blurb on my site is supposed to be a joke :) - as I couldn't think of anything serious to say)

Or here:

Many, many thanks if you can help solve this mystery for me

Kind regards
Bendy

1) VAST

2) acoustic industrial

3) Like NIN gone folk music.

1) Fiona Apple's hangover
2) Polka-funk
3) Like if the Muzikas got drunk with a drum machine.

I haven't actually heard your samples, but I hope you sound like this.

Fiona Apple sounds like Fiona Apple's hangover.

I bet she never gets drunk then.

Shoot a Hole in Your Soul reminds me of The The - NakedSelf

name the artist you're copying
pidgeon hole yourself and do radio-friendly songs or you won't be signed.

Shoot a Hole in Your Soul is pure Lightfoot. I listened to a Lightfoot album yesterday, I've got Lightfoot on the brain. Lightfoot is the 33rd greatest Canadian ever.

1) I don't know, but your sampler and your guitar must be constantly fighting for your attention.

2) I can't argue with Jordan on this one

3) What if Lightfoot and Solvent humped backstage at a Primus show?
