What is the name of the band that sings this song

I think the song is from the Eighties. It has a chorus of "New York New York New York" It was played alot in the clubs, and sounded very electronic. Great beat. Can't remember the Band or Song title. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It's either Nina Hagen or Micro Chip League. Is it wacky and sung by a weird lady, or does it sound industrial dance lite?
