think kidzbop is available in
heaven stores now. my fave hits collections type things were these things i used to hear in italy where they'd hire a bunch of session musicians and get some people who sang very very very similar to the people who had the hit versions of the song (except often the duplicate was a better singer) and just release a knockoff 'now that what i call something very similar to some other music!'.

My son watches the nickelodeon and cartoon network cable channels and I frequently see ads there for the kidzbop cds. Hearing the excepts of those kids doing the hits almost has me ready to mailorder those discs.
