I have been missing out on all the hot new shit lately due to my computer being dead as well as my ipod. I just bought Pure Garage III today and while I am loving it to death, I AM PISSED that the square record store I work at has become my only source of music these days (resulting in me "catching up" on the past rather than experiencing the new). This is terribly depressing.. is it totally impossible to hear the fresh-est soundz these days if you don't have a personal computer/internet???

they're not, but i wish they'd fuckin' iron out the kinks in their products before rushing to roll out fancier new versions. also i think the warranty coverage should be longer.

Companies still making MP3 players that require compulsory & unique software to operate should have their software departments kicked in the balls/ladybits for 6 months straight whilst a fat linux geek with a ponytail explains over & over why it's annoying & retarded.

Imagine if PC's came with Internet Explorer HARDWIRED with no alternative. It's beyond dumb at this point. PLEASE separate organisation/database/transfer & driver-hardware functions from 'mp3 players' in general ok?

They only account for a small share of the market over here in the US, but I understand they're still mega-huge in other parts of the world (specifically Europe).

Either way, I wouldn't trade it for two iPods.
