One World: "Grief Never Grows Old" - Is this the very worst song every recorded?

Working from home gives one the rare opportunity to listen to Radio 2. Unfortunately, this also means I've just heard the official Disaster Emergency Committee "Grief Never Grows Old". It features:

The Bee Gees
Cliff Richard
Jamie Cullum
Ronan Keating
Boy George

amongst others... and it's written by Mike Read!

Now, imagine just how terrible this could be, and then multiply that beyond your wildest imaginations... I guarantee, if you have not heard this wretched record, that it is geniunely more abysmal than any other song in the history of recorded music.

Has anyone else heard it or I am alone?

Honetsly? Those 2 tracks are formidable, thrilling, and emotional powerhouses next to this dirge. It's not even a dirge. It's the song your teeth would write as they are being drilled.

But hang on, isn't this I Love Music?

Oh, I get it.

Right, well it looks like it's top five this week.

I still haven't heared the finished version, only Mike Read's rough demo version. But I hold out no hope for it...

Oh, and Brian Wilson is also on it. I'd better hear it. But just the once...
