Black Crowes are a hell of a lot better. You should hear this one song that the guy from Counting Crows recorded with a Dutch band ("Holiday in Spain", the band is called Blof if you're interested but it's absolutely horrid). At least the Black Crowes had 'Remedy' and 'Jealous Again' which beat Counting Crows' entire repertoire. I don't have albums from either of them, though.

I love that this sentence exists.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 17 January 2005 23:08 (twenty-one years ago)

It's late and I'm very much drinking, Ned.

Robin Geurts (Hyperdog), Monday, 17 January 2005 23:42 (twenty-one years ago)

It's mostly because of a bandname like Blof! That's incredible!

(xpost) Well that's Dutch for ya. It even gets better: you're really supposed to spell it like Bløf.

Robin Geurts (Hyperdog), Monday, 17 January 2005 23:57 (twenty-one years ago)

They are v. popular here in their native country, and bloody awfull.

stevo (stevo), Tuesday, 18 January 2005 16:12 (twenty-one years ago)

I wouldn't call them very popular in the States. At this point they're more like something you'd hear at a grocery store.
