ok, nice fun thread to start the day off...

ha. I actually got the application form for this...

A number of people have said "Why not do Jarvis?" as I bear a sort of vague familial resemblance (I never wear black rimmed see through glasses for this reason). But as I said, "If you do that, though, it's officially over." (I still had vague ambitions in a musical direction).

But, one year, I thought "Heck, I could do Paul Weller's "Wild Wood". Solo, acoustic, and it would mean Paul Weller would know me and it would really piss him off. Which is a really good reason to do it...

By the time the form arrived, I'd thought better of it.

well im only 12 but ive always wanted to be a singer so when my nan said i should audition for stars in their eyes kids i jumped at the idea! i kept trying to ring for an aplication form but nothing happens on the fone! but im goin to keep trying! and if i got on id be kelly clarkson and i would sing beautiful diaster! cus thats a lush song :P

Looks-wise I'm probably more David Thomas (Pere Ubu) than anything else.

Vocal-wise I'd probably want to go for Ian Curtis, probably doing "Atmosphere" (although I might be convinced to do "Love Will Tear Us Apart" in a pathetically desperate, misguided and futile gesture towards populism); unfortunately everyone else I know would try to set me up to do some piece of sloppy drivel by Tony bastard Hadley and Spandau bleedin' Ballet [spits] because, despite all my efforts to do otherwise, they still reckon I sould like him.
