proof that Roth-era Van Halen (i.e. the beginning of "Hot for Teacher") was just ripping off Sammy Hagar? i have never heard the song q mentions though

The intro to "Bad Motor Scooter" is done with a slide and it sounds like a car shifting gears. "Hot for Teacher" intro is the double kick drums sounds like a 73 Chevy Nova with glass packs. Both are pretty wicked.
There is some similarity to Roth era Van Halen and those first two Montross records. "Rock Candy" would not sound at all out of place on an early Van Halen album.

Kraftwerk's 'Autobahn'
Einsturzende Neubauten have also been using a jet engine fairly recently.
We attempted to use a lawn edger motor for one of my bands, but we couldn't get the bastard started.

one track made up of lots of movie samples and industrial noises all set against a sever motorbike rev sound. lovely.whereas the final track has extended motorbike engine noise for 4 mins and little else .. not as listenable ..

*there's little else but the sound of revving engines in this track
