Flava Flav on Channel 5's 'The Farm'- WTF?

Anyone in the UK see this last night? Flava in a farmhouse with the likes of Emma Noble, Keith Harris & Orville (realise the full surrealism of this might only be apparent to Brits), Lionel Blair, Ron Jeremy, Charlene Tilton and La Ciccolana? He seems to be either friends already with half of them or dazzling the others with his charm and good humour. Can't wait to see what he makes of pig insemination and chicken-slaughter (it's a celeb-reality show set on a farm basically). I give him a week.

Flavor Flav appears to be made entirely of charisma.

I wonder how on earth they dreamt this up?

Does Flav like those two gay presenters?

Whoops, cheers Dom, let's wait for the axe to fall . . . . .

Did no one see Flava on Surreal Life?

In HERE article from Wired named "DJ Spooky Raps About Remixing" He says this when asked about his new project with Dave Lombardo and Chuck D:

"WN: What happened with Flava Flav?

Miller: It didn't fit. It wasn't the right project.... He is better for reality TV at this point. But again, that's nothing negative, it's just ... I felt like I wanted to evoke a certain kind of Public Enemy....

(We used) a classic sort of '70s big synthesizer (vocorder) that you run voices through. We ended up making a synthetic voice to replace Flav that kind of evoked the same kind of call and response. So Chuck D does his thing and instead of going back and forth (with Flava Flav), it goes to the computer."

Looking at that, I think he and Orville may have more in common than I'd previously suspected.

I'm particularly looking forward to when Keith Harris attempts to retaliate and follow-up the success of Orville's collaboration with Flavour Flav, by thrusting his entire forearm up Chuck D's arse....
