Speaking of Tipping Points: When is EVERYONE going to be sick of Lil' John (or did it already happen?)

I mean come on -- no matter what you do, or how well you do it, if you do that one same thing on every other song on the radio for months and months on end, people will eventually tire of you.

Horrific and embarassing one-trick pony that will be forgotten soon, but sadly not soon enough to stop fueling the flames of idiotic "Hip hop all sounds the same" rants more than anything within recent memory...

Yet, here it is over a year after that thread ended, and did Lil Jon fall under a truck? No. And what is he doing? Bringing his minimalist crunk stylings to ... Reggaeton.

Perhaps crossover fame is what he seeks. I could see him expanding his audience by adding a few "OKAAAYYYY"s to a Linkin Park single. Two years from now, he does a collabo with Jack White. Then as he ages and mellows, maybe we'll see him do a track on a Santana album, only instead of saying "LET'S GOOOOOO!!" he'll say something like "SMOOOOOTH!!!"
