Right under your nose

For me its the Ron Sexsmith debut, which i bought after hearing Gold in them Hills a couple of years ago and which i wrote off as maudlin nasal tripe. Shuffled itunes gave me Speaking with the Angel the other day and now i love the whole album!

I'd owned Scatology by COIL for literally a number of years (procured solely for their lumbering, hope-extinguishing cover of "Tainted Love") before I'd really ever paid attention to the rest of the disc. Based on ILM testimonials about how great/scary/mind-scarring Horse Rotorvator was, I picked that one up -- fell in love with it, and that made me listen to Scatology really for the first time in its disquieting entirety.
