I think there is a concerted effort to make it bland after the Suburbs profanity fest last year (or was it 2 years ago?). At the time, I knew someone who was working for the Basilica on the Block Party, and apparently Beej talking about fucking and swearing a blue streak made the higher-ups a bit angry...

But yeah, enough with the honeydogs already...sheesh.

A monument to "meh." I've never been, even though I can usually get free tix. I'd be more likely to hazard a chance at seeing the current version of Deep Purple at Taste of MN than to ever subject myself to the Big Head Todd-style bland bookings at The Basilica.
