Dear Hulk:

How do you feel about Boney M and Jacques Derrida? Is there any connection between the two? How does Jack Logan figure into the equation? Is the quality of professional wrestling on the decline? Will Loggins & Messina ever reunite? Do you know where I misplaced my car keys?

The Hulkster will answer these in order...

I like Boney M's old stuff best.

Derrida's alright, but if you really want to see some deconstruction, check out what I did to the Magnificent Muraco, Detroit 1988.

Jimmy Snuka

The Hulkster enjoys Jack Logan, although Bulk could have used an editor. And Mood Elevator could have used some more rockin' tunes.

That hosehead Stone Cold Steve Austin ruined wrestling.

Why should they? Kenny's alright, don't nobody worry about him.

Check under the cushions, my man.

Don't forget to eat your vitamins. Or Hulkamania's gonna run wild over you!

Hulk Hogan, Friday, 23 September 2005 19:50 (twenty years ago)

Dear Hulk,

Will there ever be another series of "Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n' Wrestling"?

Yours,
Phil.

Philip Alderman (Phil A), Friday, 23 September 2005 20:58 (twenty years ago)

Hulk,

I'm not much of a fan, but a few things crossed my mind when I saw this thread:

Did you weigh 10 pounds and 7 ounces at birth?

Do you also have a step brother named Kenny from your mother’s previous marriage and a full blooded brother named Alan?

Did you weigh 195 lbs at the age of 12?

Did you begin spending time at a Christian Youth Ranch at the age of 14?

Is it not a sheriff’s boys correctional ranch?

After graduating Robinson High School in Tampa, did you attended the Hillsborough Community College studying business?

Two years later, did you continue your studies in business at the University of South Florida?

During your college years, were you a spare time musician and full time bank teller?

Does your success story as a wrestler begin in 1967 in a Tampa, Florida gym when he started bodybuilding, earning him a job as a part time bouncer?

In 1976, were you spotted ringside at a Florida arena by Jack and Jerry Brisco?

Did Jack take you under his wing and set you up to train with legendary Japanese wrestler Hiro Matsuda?

Did you wrestle your first match under the guise of Super Destroyer on the Florida independent scene during your training years?

Is it true that in one training session Matsuda nearly broke your knee?

Did that convince you to give up wrestling?

Did you return to playing in bands around Tampa, including Koko, Infinity's End, and most notably, Ruckus?

Did wrestling manager and musician Jimmy Hart meet you in a bar where your band was playing?

Is that how your met many other pro-wrestlers, including Andre the Giant, and Terry Funk?

Did Terry urge you to give wrestling another chance?

Were you brought into Southeast Championship Wrestling in the summer 1978 by Rip Tyler, all the while being managed by Jimmy Hart?

Did you go by the alias Terry Boulder early on, and for a short time were you joined in tag-team matches by your childhood friend Ed Leslie, who was billed as your brother Eddie Boulder?

Did Eddie Boulder become better known as Dizzy Hogan before becoming a star in his own right as Brutus Beefcake?

After defeating an unknown local mid-carder, did you begin to call yourself 'The Wrestling Hulk'?

In mid 1979, did you become known as Sterling Golden (based on the Gorgeous George gimmick) and develope the Sterling Squeeze Bear Hug as your finishing move?

Is it true you offered $10,000 to every one who can break out of your Squeeze?

Just curious

PappaWheelie B.C., Friday, 23 September 2005 21:02 (twenty years ago)

And by "he" and "him", so I mean "you" and "yours"?

PappaWheelie B.C., Friday, 23 September 2005 21:03 (twenty years ago)

Dear Hulk,

Is it true that you once paid $10,000 to see Squeeze? I won't tell anyone.

Hulk Hogan, when are you gonna grow some balls and fight the Macho Man? Be A Man, Hogan! Or I'll record another rap album. OHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHH!

"Macho Man" Randy Savage, Saturday, 24 September 2005 03:48 (twenty years ago)

Bear with the Hulkster...

Yes.

You know it, brother.

The Hulkster ate his veggis, bro.

Hulkster don't know nothin' 'bout no ranch.

These allegations are false. The Hulkster defies the alligators.

Yes.

You've read my file, brough.

Could you see the Hulkster waiting tables?

Don't date me like that, my man.

Hulk loves those dudes.

Indeed. The Hulkster did.

What are ya gonna do when the Super Destroyer runs wild over you?

Ouch.

The Hulkster never quits.

The Hulkster is in negotiations for an Infinity's End Reunion tour. We're just pricing gongs.

No.

No, bro.

The Hulkster doesn't need Terry Funk to tell him not to quit. But I love that dude.

No.

No.

The Hulkster hates Brutus Beefcake. One of these days the 24" pythons are gonna rain down on his world, bro.

Yes.

Yes.

Nobody's broken out of the bear hug. That's why Hulkster switched to the leg drop. Variety is the spice of the Hulkster's life.

You're talking to the Hulkster, so yes. "You" means me.

The Hulkster is a sucker for anything Paul Carrack's involved in, brough.

Well well well. If it isn't my old arch enemy the nacho man. Well let me tell you a little something, nacho man. The Hulkster and the 24" pyhthons are gonna make you wish you were back on the set of your Slim Jim ad. And not because it was a lucrative national endorsement deal, but because the Hulkster's been eatin' his vitamins, and he's been working out in the gym, getting ready, hitting the weights, pumping the iron, getting all the little Hulkamaniacs excited for the day I take you out. What are ya gonna do, when Hulkamania runs wild on you?

Hulk Hogan, Saturday, 24 September 2005 04:10 (twenty years ago)

How does one maintain such colour and form in their moustache as you have in your age.

Tokyo Ghost Stories (Tokyo Ghost Stories), Sunday, 25 September 2005 03:43 (twenty years ago)

Dear Hulk,

What are your three favorite countries?

älänbänänä (alanbanana), Sunday, 25 September 2005 13:33 (twenty years ago)

Man, I don't really know, but I was thinking of visiting Yourmomistan again sometime quite soon.

Hukster,

When you say "vitamins", so you mean "steroids"?

How do you know Dr. George Zahorian?
