So, a friend who's barely heard the band is coming to see them with us in November, and asked if I could "do her a CD".

This is my first attempt - I'm sure you can improve it.

What about later stuff? "Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah," "Swimming Pools, Movie Stars," "Sucker"?

Where's "What Did Your Last Servant Die Of"? Everything else looks good though.

More "Seamonsters"!

"Going Nowhere Fast", "Give My Love to Kevin".

"Take Me," and "Come Play with me" (to replace "Queen of Outer Space")

I only rejected 'Take Me' cos it's about 9 minutes long (I had to use the edit of 'Interstate 5' as well).

'Give My Love To Kevin' and 'Yeah...' look good too, but what do I chuck out?

i did this recently and the mix i came up with was fairly close to yours. what i would say is that, given the amount of fantastic material the band has, it seems a shame to bother with covers, and you'd do well to have either Drive or Convertible off Mini instead. also, i shoehorned in Take Me, 'cos i figured you have to, really.

You Should Always Keep In Touch With Your Friends is a sentimental favourite of mine.

Just giving her a copy of Bizarro also seems a safe bet.

My favorite Wedding Present song is "Anyone Can Make A Mistake."

"I'm Not Always So Stupid" was always a big hit at the friday night dance parties at our ol' apartment. Probably my favorite, yes sir.

"Al about Eve" is necessary, and i like specially the b-side "One Day this will all be yours"
