Mpls Ilxors, the geekiest period of music dorkdom in Mpls has arrived once again...our annual Sound Unseen festival is upon us once again, and once again it looks awesome....I don't know if there are better music film festivals than this one around the country, but this one is really great....hilites this year (for me) include the Mission of Burma doc, a Nick Cave doc, a documentary about Queensbridge hip hop.....but tons of stuff this year, looks great!

I hear an abridged version of this is coming to Portland, OR. I will definitely be attending that if it happens.

Wow, the Mish of Burm doc is finally finsished? Anyone seen it? Any good? The trailer that I saw a while back had way to much on the "importance" of the band and too little about the band to entice me to Boston where I was in discussion with the producer about contributing some editing. Did I make the right choice?

A shout to MPLS/TCs, used to live there, a fine towns.

Favela Rising! Burma!

Word of mouth on the 930 Club doc from folks who've seen it is that it is amateurishly made and not as comprehensive on the history of bands who played there as it could have been.
