strng hlkngtn (dubplatestyle), Wednesday, 28 September 2005 03:21 (twenty years ago)

I pawed it at the record store today, but bought new Neil and Gretchen instead.

Stormy Davis (diamond), Wednesday, 28 September 2005 03:26 (twenty years ago)

I bought it and the new sean paul today at best buy. Its only 9.99 there. Its much better than choices ii, i think, but i only liked a few tracks on that (especially 'pimp'). My fav track on the new one, aside from 'stay fly' is the one about guys who stand against the wall at the club w there arms folded.

Deej.., Wednesday, 28 September 2005 03:49 (twenty years ago)

do they have that really catchy song on the Hustle & Flow soundtrack? (sorry, too lazy to google)

YOU ALMOST STABBED YOURSELF IN THE FACE LIKE A HULKAMANIAC (jaxon), Wednesday, 28 September 2005 03:57 (twenty years ago)

"dontcha get mad" is the most accessable, soul-driven and chilled out theyve ever been, and i like it... that sample is awesome... anyone with the real vers know where they lift the sample from?

capnkickass (gloriagaynor), Wednesday, 28 September 2005 04:30 (twenty years ago)

I like the one about beating up all them pussy ass niggaz in the club. Boy are those guys numerous!

For real, I'll buy it tomorrow.

Robert Bell (robertbell), Wednesday, 28 September 2005 04:43 (twenty years ago)

it seems okay, a bit 3-6 by the numbers. i like it though. not quite as hardcore as i hoped (but ive still got to hear it properly).

okok, Wednesday, 28 September 2005 08:55 (twenty years ago)

"AllHipHop.com: So, there’s been some talk of your camp aligning with G-Unit…

Paul: No, they’re people"

is this because paul is a dog?

jake b. (cerybut), Wednesday, 28 September 2005 21:18 (twenty years ago)

I got a pretty nice "Stay Fly" hand towel with my purchase too.

Robert Bell (robertbell), Wednesday, 28 September 2005 23:36 (twenty years ago)

Who's jumping on a bandwagon!? The guy who bought Gretchen instead?

deej.., Thursday, 29 September 2005 02:19 (twenty years ago)

funny how all the rap threads get the "bandwagon" treatment when all the albums being discussed sell a fuckin lot more than most of the stuff mentioned on this board... notice its never any clap yr hands say takk or whatever threads... i think somebody's LADY left em for someone who might like to dance or something?? fuckin ridiculous... i mean, really... .thats brilliant, the little bandwagon GIF but what bandwagon is it??

GOTTA STAY WHI-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-ITE

capnkickass (gloriagaynor), Thursday, 29 September 2005 02:25 (twenty years ago)

deej: i think i only posted about ned raggett back then

deej.., Thursday, 29 September 2005 02:37 (twenty years ago)

omg, the intro is so rediculous! "some people wanna know why we call the album The Most Unknown. it means we Known, but we Unknown. Know what i'm sayin?"

and Stay Fly is the Hustle & Flow track i was talking about. g-g-great track

YOU ALMOST STABBED YOURSELF IN THE FACE LIKE A HULKAMANIAC (jaxon), Friday, 30 September 2005 21:24 (twenty years ago)

Stay Fly isn't in Hustle & Flow is it?

deej.., Saturday, 1 October 2005 00:00 (twenty years ago)

it's in the commercials i thought

(not on the soundtrack, and i haven't/will not see the movie)
