I initially heard of them via Codeine's "Barely Real" EP, the flipside of which features a cover of their own "Promise of Love." It was pretty much the last I heard of them until today, when I saw a Forced Exposure single of theirs dated 1991 called "15 Laffs." I bought it despite the bandname's connotations of Stiv Bators' number on "Tapeheads," 'Mr. MX-7,' and it turned out to be really... good, actually. Silly but a little heart-rending, too. Does anyone else know anything about them? Maybe you can tell me: classix or dudz?
