can anyone else hear 'paradise city' in this song? and (unfortunately) 'uncle tom's cabin' by warrant.
great song though. and largely a great record.'subhuman race' was worthless though. and i never listened to 'thickskin'. shades of van halen III and that self-titled motley crue record if you ask me.

"Slave to the Grind" was way better.

Monkey Business rox.
I also like "Wasted Time" as far as ballads are concerned!

'wasted time' is good yes, but i'm more a fan of 'quicksand jesus'

Some slim intoxicado drinkin dime store hooch...
I heard "Piece of Me" on the radio the other day and remembered someone pinning Bach with a beer bottle at a show as they went into that song. Bach jumped from the stage into the audience screaming "Come get a piece of me!"
I'd be more impressed though if that had happened during a production of "Jesus Christ, Superstar".
And by the way, this was the first thread I ever started on ILM: Skid Row: "Get the Fuck Out" or "Beggar's Day"?

Me too, because people SHOULD have thrown things at him during his laughable performance as Jesus! granted I only went for Carl Anderson but Sebastian kept doing the "rock star" planting of the feet before he began a song. His acting was soooo bad it was funny

I only have Slave to the Grind.
But I did hear a solo Bach track on an Iron Maiden tribute a few years back. He does "Children of the Damned" arguably better than the original. Totally worth tracking down... great voice.
I also like the Mtv cribs episode where Bach shows off his comic book collection and his Kiss memorabilia, and his home studio and his hot blonde wife. He seems like a happy guy, all things considered.

"Kangaroo woman with her bourbon in her pouch, can't afford the rental on the bamboo couch"
This is one of the best hair metal songs ever. The lyrics are amazing.

here's that video. Watch him get all political at the beginning-- talking about wars that he clearly has no fucking clue about

Is it anywhere within the realm of possibility that Bach could fight his way out of a wet paper bag? I doubt it
