Forksclovetofu (Forksclovetofu), Friday, 14 October 2005 20:23 (twenty years ago)

mark p (Mark P), Friday, 14 October 2005 20:25 (twenty years ago)

and being called feminem

mark p (Mark P), Friday, 14 October 2005 20:25 (twenty years ago)

is she really grime?

mark p (Mark P), Friday, 14 October 2005 20:25 (twenty years ago)

sorry forks but these "do my interview for me" threads really rub me the wrong way

mark p (Mark P), Friday, 14 October 2005 20:27 (twenty years ago)

Maybe just think about them as, "does anyone have anything they want to know in particular in addition to the questions I have already researched and planned?"?

mark p (Mark P), Friday, 14 October 2005 20:33 (twenty years ago)

Lion-O (nordicskilla), Friday, 14 October 2005 20:34 (twenty years ago)

its been a long week.

mark p (Mark P), Friday, 14 October 2005 20:34 (twenty years ago)

yes it has.

Lion-O (nordicskilla), Friday, 14 October 2005 20:35 (twenty years ago)

anyway tom nailed me in the first response on that thread and he was right to do so.

nb. this is not a dig at forks at all.

mark p (Mark P), Friday, 14 October 2005 20:36 (twenty years ago)

is my watch broken? what do you mean? are you saying that your thread is okay because it's three years old? or because you only had three hours to assemble questions?

i don't really even care, mark, i just saw an opportunity for pwnage and i seized it!

jaymc (jaymc), Friday, 14 October 2005 20:36 (twenty years ago)

ask her if she has beef with anyone. If she declines, make one up.

RED HOOK Noize pwns Bushwick Trust Fund Babies (mookie wilson), Friday, 14 October 2005 22:59 (twenty years ago)

sorry for shitting on this thread, everyone. bad day.

mark p (Mark P), Sunday, 16 October 2005 13:42 (twenty years ago)

She should have beef with MC Lyte. Thanks.

jhoshea (scoopsnoodle), Sunday, 16 October 2005 15:03 (twenty years ago)

Maybe just think about them as, "does anyone have anything they want to know in particular in addition to the questions I have already researched and planned?"? is accurate. More to the point, I'd like to be able to report back here with an answer, thus making this an INTERACTIVE INTARWEB (patent pending).
No bad feelings all 'round. I'd rather see her and Lyte team up.
But does anyone have anything they're GENUINELY curious to know?

Forksclovetofu (Forksclovetofu), Sunday, 16 October 2005 16:00 (twenty years ago)

Oh wow, I'm jealous. Sorry, don't have any Qs really. I haven't heard the new record yet. :-(

nathalie, a bum like you (stevie nixed), Sunday, 16 October 2005 16:27 (twenty years ago)

I would like to know if she thinks about the grime/not grime debate, especially given that there wasn't really a debate until people realised she's white.

munchkin, Sunday, 16 October 2005 17:26 (twenty years ago)

Where does she see herself in 10 years?

Is it true she's touring with a band? (If so, very disappointing news. Generally hip hop's crap with a band, can't imagine grime fares much better.)

Will Sad Arse Strippa ever get a proper US release?

2005 US tour dates?

Good luck with the interview - from the ones I've read she actually seems fairly down-to-earth + easy to talk to, as long as the interviewer's not being a moron.

Edward III (edward iii), Sunday, 16 October 2005 23:07 (twenty years ago)

Edward, US tour dates have already been announced...

jaymc (jaymc), Sunday, 16 October 2005 23:33 (twenty years ago)

A good question for any interview is one that the interviewee doesn't expect. For example, what's your favorite fast food? Gets em every time! ;)
