Dan (Perfection) Perry (Dan Perry), Monday, 13 March 2006 12:34 (twenty years ago)

I loved "Patience of a Saint," moreso than I loved "Getting Away With It." "Disappointed" was their absolute masterpiece, though.

In the D category ... much as I love their conceptual hijinx in general, I'm going to have to vote the KLF Vs the Pet Shop Boys 12". And had I not grown up going clubbing to it every weekend, I'd probably hate the Absolutely Fabulous single, too.

If you hate "Patience Of A Saint", you are deaf and possibly a tiny bit retarded.

Dan (Fact) Perry (Dan Perry), Monday, 13 March 2006 18:43 (twenty years ago)

I'll never forget that old photo in Rolling Stone, early '90s, of Neil Tennant, Axl Rose and Young MC hanging out together backstage at some event or other. ("Proof that the universe makes absolutely no sense at all," the RS hack opined.) Now THAT's a collaboration (or it would've been if they'd recorded any music).
