Eight original songs, and yes -- the proceeds will pay for my surgery. Special gift for the first 100 orders. Each CD is hand-numbered and autographed by steffie.“...chords are perfectly joined with lyrics...rich musical themes throughout -- an entirely engaging and deeply felt meditation." Dale Glabach, music theorist, composer
“...an inspiring and honest voice to all who quest sunshine in a political midnight.” Bill Opalicky
“...her latest songs and style truly reflect her great passion and the uncommon courage to speak her heart and mind...” Dennis Canfield
“...Anything touched by Stephanie Loveless is magical, endearing, honest and heartfelt. Your reward by purchasing this CD is two-fold: Some kickass spunky tunes and a chance to thank her for her indiscriminate passion and drive for equality in all humanity." Stephanie Vollick
Yes, that's right, buying this cd (what, no promo?) will help pay for Stephanie (neé Tom) to get a sex change. Tom was previously one of the main activists involved in low power radio organizing, and I had a story lined up on him, when he flipped and decided that he wanted to be a woman. My editor suddenly decided he wasn't credible and spiked the story.
But truly, who could say no to this offer?

Gender issues aside, it's about time somebody finally issued a kickass, spunky album in which the chords were perfectly joined with the lyrics.

this can't be the first time. hasn't the purchase of every throbbing gristle reissue/cash-in effort over the past decade been in support of some cool gender-bending surgical operation? there are more examples, too...let me put my thinking cap on.

Bet it comes in a biohazard bag.
(And yeah, the music theorist bit was one of the reasons I put it up...)
