This comp was very uneven. The Strand remix was very electro oriented and is the best of the bunch. This might be the best thing they ever did. Mike Grant's mix was a Rhodes driven neo-soul take that isn't mind blowing but kind of cool for it's originality. Godfather's mix is a 150 bpm ghettotech with vocal samples and not much else(sounds like everything he did around that time). The Adult mix sounds like Adult when they still sounded electro. Everything else is kind of meh. It surprises me that it goes for so much on discogs because it isn't that great.

That was kind of a rough time for Detroit electronic music. The house dudes were really the only good thing happening at that time. I found myself going to deep house gigs and that was about it.
