Audioweb C/D?

I must have seen Audioweb 3 times when back in the britpop 90s. They were always the support band and never made much of an impression on me. I remeber them as one of those bands that mixed rock with reggae badly, losing the best bits of both and ending up just sounding bland.

i remember thinking they were meh-as-fuck until seeing them live at the venue in edinburgh some point around 1996 and being absolutely blown away. i remember filing a superlative-laden review for the scotsman. wonder if i can find it again? hmm.

then i went home and smoked a big joint and forgot all about them. such was my fickle 21-year-old self.
