Battle of the 'forbidden love' pop hits.

I will go with "Midnight Confessions":
- I suspect it'll be the underdog here
- love the line 'your soft gentle motion'
- the brass arrangement
- multiple lead vocalists is always a plus with me

Grass Roots win by miles. Rick's is merely idle musing, not genuine angst. Seconding the brass. And "Midnight Confessions" works especially well to describe "oh shit I'm falling for my friend" situations. Not that I've ever been in such.

this band has really interesting deep cuts. lots of identifiable trends and sounds pilfered from the stones etc. but just put together in interesting and kind of incompetent ways, which is often endearing
