Irreverent punk anthem vs. "hilariously dispassionate" electropop vs. feedback-drenched sweetness? It's one of my favorites so I'm interested to hear some feedback. In my opinion it's the original or nothing.

Or Elton Motello?

Ha, fine. Though Telex and Sonic Youth remade "Ça Plane Pour Moi", specifically. I'm just curious about potential comparisons between those three renditions.

Telex, especially the delay on the beat kick-in.

Either Plastic Bertrand or the Richard Thompson version, which has the added feature of him shouting, "Le Punk Belgique!" at the beginning.

HE GIVES ME HEAD!
(Favorite track to put on mixes for homophobes).

I like the Headcoatees one, too.

sigh, I give up. I also lied: the correct answer to this thread is actually "The Presidents of the United States of America".

The Leila K. version is the best.

There's also an incredibly wide path of half-covers of this song, or at least liberal quoting -- DAT Politics' "Turn My Brain Off" is the latest I've heard.
