*Unexpectedly successful approach: "It's a Man's Man's Man's World," sung in the most sensitive falsetto I could summon up.
*Song neither I nor anybody else should ever attempt at karaoke again: "Paranoid Android." And not just because of the over-a-minute instrumental interlude.
*Song I dearly wish there were a karaoke version of: Peaches' "Shake Your Dix."
*Song whose existence in the karaoke book mystifies me: Fatboy Slim's "Praise You."
*There is a guy who goes to my karaoke joint of choice who ALWAYS does the Bloodhound Gang's "A Lapdance Is So Much Better When the Stripper is Crying." Pure pain. I am tempted to sneak into the KJ's booth and destroy that disc.
Post your recent karaoke experiences here.

I don't know you but I really really really wish I'd seen this.

I saw it, and of countless j blount performances I've witnessed it has to be among the top three. The perfect synchronicity on the vocal, the hoppity stomp dances, the intense conflict between the two singers on the chorus - shit was art.
I did a decent "Satellite of Love" that night, but I'm struggling to remember any real great achievements of note in the 2006 period. Have to flip back through my notes...
