Imagine you are listening to those albums today for the 1st time ever, created by those "unknown bands" - what would you think?!
(are they still classic)
1. pink floyd - dark side - too monotonic, way too slow and tired.

2. beatles - white album - good melodies, nice variety of styles, but a bit too thin in production.not all the songs at the same level.

3. the doors - s.t. - good garage band!great vocals!

4. led zep - 4th lp - classic anyway you look at it.

5.?

1. pink floyd - dark side - wow, this is great!

2. beatles - white album - 3 decent songs on a double live album? must be influenced by Spiritualized or Radiohead.

3. the doors - s.t. - odd little creepy disc. kinda like it. there should probably be more stuff like this (when they release more albums, I will soon discover I was wrong)

4. led zep - 4th lp - wow, this is right out of nowhere way out in left field. Lots of bizarre singing which I can't figure out how to take, but I love it. Or is it kind of annoying? I can't tell. Something about it is so good yet so weird. Is that a guitar or a horn playing there? What are these songs about? Can't stop playing it. This will be the future of music.

5. bonniwell music machine - oh yeah, this is what the doors should've sounded like.

6. the cure - records 1-4 - nice gimmicks, sometimes annoying sometimes enjoyable thin production, but there are many other bands who play post punk better than them.

Geir is funnier than Calum with these. More! Encore!

(Admittedly, we're all funnier than Cal but letitpass letitpass.)
