Can I hire you for a party?

They need to be trained to distinguish between an "album" and a "single" in the first instance.

Midnight Star - No Parking On The Dancefloor

Donna Summer - Bad Girls... specifically Sides 1 and 4... more techno disco-ey, but they'll want that.

Any early 80s George Clinton album.. Computer Games would be an obvious choice.

Zapp - "Zapp" obviously

You can't go wrong with the debut album from The System.

Marvin Gaye's "Midnight Love" is my fave album of his (one of my all time fave albums)

every single song i've heard from the s/t Don Blackman has been pure amazingness. i don't have the full album (yet) but "Holding You, Loving You", "Yabba Dabba Do", "Heart's Desire" & "You Ain't Hip" are super epic.

i'm also really feeling the Mazarati album lately (members of prince's revolution)

pre-prince 94 East is sounding pretty rad to me right now.

Zapp may be the winner, but damn if Jonzun Crew's Lost In Space isn't a contender for this throne.

Anyone heard Bernard Wright's 1985 record? I have the "Who Do You Love" single and it hits me right where.

wow. that interview is terrible. he mentions Lenny White. i just picked up the Lenny White & Twentynine album the other day. "Peanutbutter" is great, but the rest of it's ho hum.
