RFI to the Jazz Douchebags: Is Billie's Bounce the Same as Ool-Ya-Koo?

I'm watching (and listening to) this DVD of Ella Fitzgerald and the Tommy Flanagan trio playing Montreaux in 77, and the second to last track is listed as "Billie's Bounce" but I'd swear it's "Ool-Ya-Koo" Are they alternate names for the same song, or share changes or something? Unfortunately, my Charlie Parker discs are a massive disarray, so I can't check against them with any ease.

Okay, so I downloaded a version of "Billie's Bounce" and can now say with certainty that it and "Ool Ya Koo" are quite distinct and the track on the Ella Fitzgerald DVD was correctly identified.

I'm turning in my Douchebag membership card.

Billie's Bounce does have the "ool-ya-koo, ool-ya-koo" lick in it though.

(See, I don't even know that tune, I'm just faking it)

"Billies's Bounce" is such a fuckin genius tune. Yeah, 'just' a blues .. but the perfectly placed accents/pauses in that super-memorable melody .. one of my favorite tunes to hum.

Parker the composer gets short shrift to Parker the player? The composer you get the player you drink?

Koko is a great Parker composition.
