Ric Ocasek puts Todd Rundgren on notice!

On last night's Colbert Report, Ric Ocasek was a special guest and when asked by Stephen Colbert if he'd like to put anyone "on notice", he replied "Todd Rundgren" and up he went on the On Notice board instead of the J. Geils band.

actually, Rundgren replaced "Business Casual" on the On Notice board. J. Geils Band was briefly suggested as an alternative to Rundgren, in case Colbert couldn't find Rundgren's name in his big box.

A friend of mine told me that he saw Rundgren with The Cars (poss. live but on TV I think) and said it was positively ATROCIOUS. He also did an impersonation of Rundgren singing, "I guess you're just what I needed/Just what I needed" all Todd-ed out, and I just about fell down laughing.
