There's one on Cockburn street, towards the bottom on the left as you're going up. Can't remember its name, though. Haven't been in for years. I don't know if it's any good or not.

Underground Solushun or similar name.

(to clarify -- that's the name of the shop Keith's describing. "Similar name" should be 'similar spelling'. Curse Fridays)

(to clarify -- that's the name of the shop Keith's describing. "Similar name" should be 'similar spelling'. Curse Fridays). It's supposed to be good, but I'm no expert. The basement of Fopp further up Cockburn St used to have quite good dance vinyl but I can't remember if it still has *any* -- it certainly has a lot less. Avalanche not really worth bothering with, so the basement of the big HMV on Princes St might be the next best bet... I can't remember if there's still a dance store further up on the other side of Cockburn St, where 23rd Precinct used to be? I think probably not.

there's not no, and I can't think of any dance stores beyond the one at the bottom of Cockburn St as already mentioned.

I volunteer at Oxfam Music in Raeburn Place, and, as the manager is a DJ, the dance section is always well stocked and categorised, in case Underground Solushun in Cockburn St. doesn't meet your needs. Aside from that, I'm drawing a blank.

no such thing. Fopp basement used to be pretty good, but they stopped carrying 12s. Underground Soulushun is good for hip hop, but extremely overpriced. absolutely useless for dance.

Hmmm. Record shopping in Edinburgh kinda sucks at the moment. S'pose we're not that far from Monorail in Glasgow :-(
