'The Part of the Animal Don't Like' is a great album - especially 'Beat This' and 'Looking for Herman'. I lost this record years ago, much to my grief. A similar act, from the UK, was Noctural Emissions, another great proto-electro industrial band.

one month passes...
saw Smegma this weekend at End Times...really amazing band....slide whistle, lap guitar, drums, analog snyths, theramin, and single turntable...plus various wierd recorder/whistle things....

some parts sounded basically free jazz with a wierd acid rock vibe, hard to describe but overall just beautiful....nice folks too...talked w/the woman in the band about Dio era Sabbath.
