Issue 1: Side 1 and 4 are on the same disc, while side 2 and 3 are the same disc? If I want to play the album from begining to end, I must play the first side of disc 1 and change to disc 2 play both sides then return back to disc 1 and play the second disc. Why is this?
Issue 2: Is that Moroder in the gold rim sunglasees and the open trench coat with Summer reaching in with a smile? (top of the right panel of the gatefold)

Side 1 and 4 are the club-friendly sides of the album.. Sides 2 and 3 are the mellower, ballady sides of the album. Sounds like an archaic side assignment/cum useful vinyl convenience to me.

Most record collectors decided years ago that stacking 'em up so the records grind against each other was probably not the best for the vinyl, hence the switch to single play tables.
