No. But I'm jealous that you get to see ANYONE in Lisbon during the summer.

IO'm going to Detroit to see Nick Cave. C'mon, man. Fuckin' Detroit! Yeah!

(No offense to anyone in/from Detroit.)

I went to Ocean on Monday - the place is lovely and makes a refreshing change from standard London venues. Good points - lots of toilets and trendy bars!

The Gorge in Washington State is the most beautiful place I know to see a large show. In summer the sun sets just to the right of the stage. It's in the middle of nowhere, and the whole atmosphere can transform what might be a so-so gig into a wonderful experience. The last show I saw there was Radiohead (on the Amnesiac tour). I'd previously been very "eh" about them, but the setting fit the grand lush swooniness of their sound very well.

(yes, the pic is from a ph*sh show. I googled it, so mneeeahh)

horrid place. the best gig i ever went to was last year at the v & a where aphex, cassetteboy and v/vm were playuing i will never go to something that good again, i think. # it was in this courtyard in the middle, with loads of glass sculptures around.

ed started everyone dancing.

also the first enchanted garden/bigchill. or the second, with plaid in the open air.

I was dragged on holiday to Jamaica once (I didn't go of my own accord). We did plan to go and see Gregory Isaacs at some show up in the countryside, but heavy rain meant it was called off. Damn.

I saw Low play in an open ampitheatre type thing in Perth under the stars which was luvverly. I once played in a small theatre which was also very lovely.
