... would be guaranteed if more people bought his records. But I'm referring to the song Happiness. I'm just revisiting it after several months and gosh, I'm damned if this isn't the loveliest thing I've heard in a fair while. The timing of the entrance of the strings, the melody's swoops, the summeriness of the whole thing. Thoughts on Shawn Lee? This song?

Loved his collaboration with Bomb the Bass -- "Fast" -- it's on the 'We Love You...So Love Us Too' compilation... I'm not sure if it's on any other albums/collections. ???

'Monkey Boy' was less interesting... to me.

i thought "happiness" was ace and everything else merely a bit mediocre. and the video is WONDERFUL! anyone inspired by len lye is alright in my book...

two years pass...

just recently heard this on '10 years...' wall of sound compilation,
gosh this is one of the best songs i've ever heard! i can't stop listening to it! can't imagine where it'd go in a dj set.
too upbeat to be played at the start, too melancholy to be played in the midnight hour, too strangely beautiful to just slot right in.
maybe it's unusualnes is why it's so rarely heard.

it's fckng *brilliant* isn't it?

must check the beedle mix. did he do an album?

'Fast' is great, as is 'Happiness'. i downloaded a track by him called 'I'll Be Fucking You This Christmas' too but that seems to have gone now.
