I just had oral surgery today whilst listening to Vladislav Delay -- not a bad combination; I highly recommend getting your teeth pulled next time you listen to Multila. But now, post-op, I'm at a loss as to something to accompany my healing process. No jagged edges, please: some of Autechre's Amber is highly agreeable (though I'm loath to listen to the final two tracks in my current ennervated state); I'm thinking a little bit of Low, perhaps some Plastikman -- and I just realized Boards of Canada would be perfect but I don't have it with me. Labradford shall be ace too, I'm sure.

Suggestions?

Piercing Music by Robert Henke on Imbalance Computer Music, Anything by Thomas Koener, Brian Eno's ambient records are off the chain, and strangely enough, I would also recommend In A Silent Way or Kind Of Blue by Miles Davis.

when i was doped up on meds after painful surgery, i listened to high llamas' "cold and bouncy". and stereolab's 'space age bachelor pad music', which is like a down blanket for rattled nerves.

Mahogany's "Dream of a modern day". It's like listening to clouds and cotton wool (especially if you're squiffy)
