oh god, irish radio's Mr Music, john kelly (who in all other respects has unimpeachable taste) *loves* his Mrs Miller and plays her records regularly. i can't figure it out. it's funny for the first nanosecond, and thereafter excruciating to listen to.

does Mrs M count as this "outsider music" i keep hearing about?
