Inspired by a night out this weekend with old college buddies. I remembered being at keg parties and trying to get girls, and the few times I did get some the songs always stuck in my head that we "hooked up" to. Anyone remember any? So far I have, forgive me some of them are really bad.

Can't knock the Hustle - Jay Z

Grey Cell Green - Neds Atomic Dustbin

Jane Says - JA

Lover You should have come over - Jeff Buckley

Northern Sky - Nick Drake

Windmills - Toad The Wet Sprocket.

Woodstock, 1969....The moment is still engraved in my heart and head after all these years. The drugs, the nudity, the people, the beautiful girls. I was 18 at the time and 4 of my friends and I made the trip from Maine. We arrived the first day and set off on our "trip". I remember seeing this beautiful blond girl swaying to the music throughout the day in the same spot. Over and Over I passed her by. Each time, she looked more and more beautiful. I eventually got up the courage to talk to her. Jeanine, was her name. She was from NY. We hit it off and spent every waking moment together through the festival. But the song I remember like it was yesterday is "You don't have to cry" - CSN. We made love in the grass to this song. It was the most memorable experience in my life. Turns out, Jeanine is now my wife. We relive this moment whenever possible....

The thought of a white kid "hooking up" to Jay-Z is almost funny

Sad to say, but The Guru isn't the only white kid to hook up during a Jay Z song. Luckily I've changed my ways since then. Ahhh, the past makes me laugh.

Funny to assume I am white. Are african americans/asians/indians/ not allowed to listen to "white" bands?

Hookin' up to Smog is the most demented thing I have ever heard of. Thats almost as bad as gettin freaky to Gwar.
