i want a boot of the idioteque vocals over the snoopy track beat, somebody hook this up. uh so yeah also this is the thread where you put rock vocals over rap beats as opposed to the usual reversal.

ok... i would love to hear the bangles - walk like an egyptian, over cannibal ox's iron galaxy (try it!). the tracks don't fit together perfectly as they are, but i'm sure a bit of judicious editing could fix that...

"Adopduction" by Les Savy Fav over "Southern Hospitality". Yass...

which snoop track?

They should put a song from "Annie" over a rap beat. That couldn't possibly be bad.

"Impressive Instant" by Madonna / "Liquid Swords" by GZA

"Head Like a Hole" by NIN / "PSK" by Schooly D

I believe he was referring to "Snoopy Track" by Jay-Z, from Vol. 3

there's some indie alterna song that goes "i never ever ever ever wanna try... / to bring you... / down" and "you're stupid when you talk like that / like you don't even care / you're wasting your breath, yeah / you're wasting the air" i have NO idea what this song is because it's on a mix someone made for me in 1989, but i think it has the same chord changes as "watch out now" by the beatnuts.

tracer, it's by the new zealand band jean paul sartre experience
i can't remember what it's called "if you've got hooks in me that slow me down, i don't feel any pain..." (i think that's the same song but it might not be haven't heard it for years)
