Who were they? Released one incredible 4 song CD/7" and then disappeared. Anyone have any info on them?

I heard that after that 7" they were signed to a label (Deconstruction?) and recorded and album. The label either dropped them or went bankrupt and then they were so disenchanted w/ the whole thing that they hadn't done anything since.

I may have my wires all messed up, someone somewhere recently said that they were going to be contributing some new material to a compilation - but that compilation hasn't materialized yet, so we don't know if it's true.

All of the above may be false as I have heard it though the grapevine twice removed. :)

I will however, also agree that the 7" they did was brilliant, and isone of my most coveted 7"s - so much so that I bought another copy lest the first one get a scratch.

they had that relaxed way with a pop song, rather like moose. two of the songs on the ep are fab, the other two were just ok.

I'll agree with keith.. "..arthur lee" and "love like ivy" are glorious pop tunes.
