Poppy indie rock band out of San Francisco with effects-heavy guitar. Sort of like Rocketship, only less dreamy, more 60s-melodic. The few MP3s I've heard sound pretty great. Although I'd never heard of them until recently, they've been together quite a while and have three albums.

I think they're bluddy grate! I hadn't heard much until last summer & was asked to play keyboards for them in Bristol. Try their Magic of Sound album. I LOVE their evocative use of chords - great instrumentals: Episode & on another album there's a track called Theme Tune (I think)...which will make you want to jump up & down on the sofa!!

I like the Magic of Sound album...they have a good range of la la la's and background harmonies.

rocketship? i've only just seen lunchbox once live and it was nowhere near rocketship land, it was kinda professional actually but then i have probably forgotten. whatever happened to wussom pow!?
