Just so you know.
I still can't really get with London Bridges, but much of the rest of the first half of the album is pretty great.
The problem is that I'm walking around enjoying 'Fergilicious' and it feels wrong.

Forksclovetofu (Forksclovetofu), Friday, 15 September 2006 21:05 (nineteen years ago)

It feels wrong because it is. Fergie is a fucking talentless trollop.

latebloomer (latebloomer), Saturday, 16 September 2006 08:19 (nineteen years ago)

She pissed herself and now Fergie has an album out and it is filled with songs that sound like "my humps"..

Nu-ILM, still bringing the misogyny in 2006.

Fergie looks like a blonde version of a girl in my kindergarten class. (Kids Inc. Fergie, not nu Fergie.)

'glamorous' is great (the HARMONIES! are properly gorgeous! i did not expect fergie to have songs with gorgeous harmonies in them) and the album is pretty awesome, i have talked about it at length elsewhere but suffice to say that if gwen stefani had made this album (as it often feels she should've, instead of lame-ass sweet escape nonsense) people would be creaming themselves over its invention and variety.

antidote against poisoning (lex pretend), Saturday, 10 February 2007 22:35 (nineteen years ago)

i haven't heard it but i have heard the london bridge song and that just sounded like a blatant rip off of gwen stefani

glamorous is !!!

and what (ooo), Sunday, 11 February 2007 00:40 (nineteen years ago)

just heard "glamorous". it's a carbon copy of a remix of gwen stefani's "luxurious" by zone 4 that came out two years ago. i don't know the back story, but it has the exact same sample and ludacris verse.

deej.. (deej..), Sunday, 11 February 2007 01:32 (nineteen years ago)

I'm quite willing to defend Fergie's more upbeat stuff, but "Glamorous" is a fucking snooze. The line about still eating at Taco Bell cracks me up, though.

five months pass...

I heard song on the radio earlier today called Finally, and at first I thought it was a new Celine Dion single or something, but the voice sounded a lot younger so I thought Aguilera. When the radio announcer said it was Fergie I nearly choked on my chelsea bun. Who knew she (sort of) the pipes?

So Fergie did the national anthem at a sporting event of some sort and some people said it was bad, but then this youtube channel made a backing track to match it and it's pretty special
