What songs deal with Marriage? What would you consider as good "soundtrack" to a wedding and what songs would make the wedding party angry (especially bride and husband ;-)

Polyester Bride - Liz Phair.. a little sarcastic for a proper wedding anthem though. ;)

"Shack Up", by Banberra (or ACR) would probably make the wedding party angry...as would "D.I.V.O.R.C.E."

I've just recently discovered the greatness of "The Man Who Wrote Home Sweet Home Never Was a Married Man."

If I wanted to anger a wedding party I'd play the entirety of Rosanne Cash's Interiors, which basically chronicles the dissolution of a marriage. Plus you can't really dance to it.

There's a way better thread about this than that somewhere, but the search function is not helping me.

(That's not the one I was thinking of either, but at least it seemed to mention X and Womack & Womack and Richard & Linda Thompson and Fleetwood Mac. Not sure if it mentioned the two best wedding songs ever "You Never Can Tell" by Chuck Berry or "I Knew the Bride" by Nick Lowe, though.)

How about "Don't Marry Her, Fuck Me" by the Beautiful South?

(Bad) FZ - "I Have Been in You" - Not about a wedding, but what father- or mother-of-the-bride wouldn't love to hear about their daughter has been defiled?
