This definitely has its own thread but yeah, unfindable because of the sucktitude of search function.

Your search - site:http://ilx.wh3rd.net fidget house - did not match any documents.

jim, Wednesday, 16 May 2007 16:50 (nineteen years ago)

Funny that.

jim, Wednesday, 16 May 2007 16:50 (nineteen years ago)

not all that interested in it - one or two tracks every few weeks and I'm good. one of those tracks is speaker junk's remix of jaxx's "take me back to your house".

jermainetwo, Wednesday, 16 May 2007 17:53 (nineteen years ago)

and i'm convinced switch has a single track template and then plugs in the microsamples. that said, there's a hip-housey old skool ravey pharoah monch mix floating around that sounded real nice.

jermainetwo, Wednesday, 16 May 2007 17:56 (nineteen years ago)

ours is not to judge how hard they work

moonship journey to baja, Wednesday, 16 May 2007 18:09 (nineteen years ago)

yeah, look, i don't really mind if they can churn out 14 a day (actually, i was being rather churlish, there's probably a lot of microediting to go along with the microsamples), but the overall effect is a lil deadingly samey. maybe i'm just too addicted to trad non-fidget house tension and release.

jermainetwo, Wednesday, 16 May 2007 18:33 (nineteen years ago)

kelis - bossy (switch rmx)
p diddy & xtina - tell me (switch rmx)

that is all i care about and need, so far

lex pretend, Wednesday, 16 May 2007 18:38 (nineteen years ago)

was just thinking today that this stuff is closer to my imagined nu-rave than van she, guns 'n bombs et al, at least in terms of the kitchen-sink aesthetic and feeling of barely-controlled manic energy

jermainetwo, Wednesday, 16 May 2007 18:38 (nineteen years ago)

four years pass...

i wish this stuff had gotten massively popular
