Snap it Around.

Eddie Fiction is pretty fun, Blah Blah Blah and Gerry & The Holograms are kinda silly and I haven't heard the rest.

dan selzer, Thursday, 17 May 2007 15:32 (nineteen years ago)

Bet Lynch's Legs have been on Top of the Pops.

Mark G, Thursday, 17 May 2007 16:21 (nineteen years ago)

Mark G, Monday, 21 May 2007 15:34 (nineteen years ago)

Classic poll.

Tom D., Thursday, 13 December 2007 14:22 (eighteen years ago)

You know it.

Mark G, Thursday, 13 December 2007 14:23 (eighteen years ago)

There surely must be a poll that no-one's voted in tho?

Tom D., Thursday, 13 December 2007 14:25 (eighteen years ago)

wish i'd seen this.

A 7 CAIRO – I Like Bluebeat

would definitely have got my vote. that was about the 11th record i ever bought.

stirmonster, Thursday, 13 December 2007 14:38 (eighteen years ago)

I'm pretty sure I have all of these!

Wonder what the unreleased ones would have been!

Mark G, Thursday, 13 December 2007 14:45 (eighteen years ago)

i like bluebeat

stirmonster, Thursday, 13 December 2007 14:55 (eighteen years ago)

i think the mothmen became simply red.

stirmonster, Thursday, 13 December 2007 14:56 (eighteen years ago)

They was Durutti Column,
They became the Mothmen
They ended up Simply Red.

Mark G, Thursday, 13 December 2007 15:00 (eighteen years ago)

I think I was the only person who voted in this poll?

dan selzer, Thursday, 13 December 2007 15:30 (eighteen years ago)

Yeah, I forgot to, myself!

Mark G, Thursday, 13 December 2007 15:31 (eighteen years ago)

glad to know there's a poll out there that failed as spectacularly as my Dead Or Alive poll on 1p3

Curt1s Stephens, Thursday, 13 December 2007 21:57 (eighteen years ago)

Yeah, but what's the volume like on there?

Mark G, Thursday, 13 December 2007 22:01 (eighteen years ago)

two years pass...

I have a possibly strange desire to know what a single by a band called "NAAFI Sandwich" would sound like

(yes I do remember NAAFIs - at least, I remember the shops before they were sold to Spar, maybe squaddies can still eat NAAFI sandwiches)

vampire headphase (a passing spacecadet), Thursday, 26 August 2010 13:26 (fifteen years ago)

Sort of vaguely cajun, with a Vic Reeves style frontman with a Salford accent rolling the word "security" around while occasionally hitting a cowbell.

Mark G, Thursday, 26 August 2010 14:12 (fifteen years ago)

About as this popular as this poll I'll bet

It dreamed to Tom D. of the Caucasus (Tom D.), Thursday, 26 August 2010 14:22 (fifteen years ago)

Dunno, the record sold out and the band repressed it themselves.

It's on a "SoulJazz" compilation of 'early indie' but they flipped the single on re-release so the CD has 'part two' which is a bit less, um, commercial.

Mark G, Thursday, 26 August 2010 14:26 (fifteen years ago)

six years pass...

Obscure?

Gerry and the Holograms!

.. gram .. gram .. gram .. gram ..

Mark G, Tuesday, 20 June 2017 08:59 (eight years ago)

one year passes...

So, the Finders Keepers lot have refashioned the Gerry and the Holograms onto an album, and the 48 chairs album is getting a re-release.

Mark G, Friday, 26 October 2018 09:51 (seven years ago)

Time to rerun the poll? Maybe not.

Alma Kirby (Tom D.), Friday, 26 October 2018 10:59 (seven years ago)

Mark G, Saturday, 25 January 2020 15:12 (six years ago)

There surely must be a poll that no-one's voted in tho?

12 years on and still no definitive answer.

Duncan Disorderly (Tom D.), Saturday, 25 January 2020 15:37 (six years ago)

i would like to amend my non vote to NAAFI SANDWICH – Slice One.

stirmonster, Saturday, 25 January 2020 18:30 (six years ago)

Godley & Creme: Consequences

This was close..

Mark G, Sunday, 26 January 2020 12:47 (six years ago)
