8 albums I like out of that lot.

Rancid (haha, the list too). I also kind of like the Garbage and Monster Magnet records.

JN$OT, Tuesday, 29 May 2007 16:55 (nineteen years ago)

how can any list have apes, pigs and spacemen on it? and Blind Melon, Reef,Bon Jovi, Bush. Argh

Herman G. Neuname, Tuesday, 29 May 2007 17:01 (nineteen years ago)

There are certainly some head scratchers, but definitely some good stuff, and Dopes to Infinity is one of my favorite albums.

Jeff Treppel, Tuesday, 29 May 2007 17:27 (nineteen years ago)

It got my vote, since I figured others will vote Smashing Pumpkins.

Herman G. Neuname, Tuesday, 29 May 2007 18:00 (nineteen years ago)

My god that is shocking. I voted for one of RFTC's finest moments. The AC/DC tracks I know off Ballbreaker are great but I don't own the album. The Green Day, Monster Magnet, Wildhearts, Weezer, Smashing Pumpkins and Rancid albums all had their moments, but I'm scraping here, frankly

DJ Mencap, Tuesday, 29 May 2007 18:15 (nineteen years ago)

1st Foo Fighters was good i suppose. Garbage was ok. but RFTC/MM/Wildhearts/Smashing Pumpkins/AIC/FNM are better.

Infernal Love was the worst Therapy? album. And (up until then) one hot minute was the worst RHCP.
The Faith No More album is definitely underrated, though not as good as Album Of The Year which followed it.

Herman G. Neuname, Tuesday, 29 May 2007 21:45 (nineteen years ago)

i guess... monster magnet?

GOTT PUNCH II HAWKWINDZ, Wednesday, 30 May 2007 05:15 (nineteen years ago)

Definitely.

It will be interesting to see if there's any Apes, Pigs & Spacemen fans on ILM.(and if they will admit it)

Herman G. Neuname, Wednesday, 30 May 2007 15:59 (nineteen years ago)

last 30 mins of voting. Prob wont be so many votes this time as the poll only ran 2 days.

Herman G. Neuname, Wednesday, 30 May 2007 22:32 (nineteen years ago)

A joint winner then and only 1 vote for the pumpkins. I think I made this poll a bit short and hardly anyone saw it. Oh well.

Herman G. Neuname, Wednesday, 30 May 2007 23:07 (nineteen years ago)

I sort of think people just don't really care about the end of year polls anymore. I mean, it's really an entirely arbitrary judgment call based on your personal taste. It's hard to compare Monster Magnet to Rancid to Paradise Lost to Fear Factory. All those albums are excellent, and it's sort of hard to argue that one is better than the other.

Jeff Treppel, Wednesday, 30 May 2007 23:33 (nineteen years ago)

True. But I just wanna get through to 2000. But a day and a few hours wasn't really enough time for people to vote and stuff.
Of course the shit selection didnt help. But the years after will have Terrorizer list to choose from so hopefully will be better.

Herman G. Neuname, Wednesday, 30 May 2007 23:35 (nineteen years ago)

Who voted Therapy?
