Seen him live. His act skirts this kind of borderline contrived, I'm one helluva of fucked up hellbent sumbitch schtick. But he does have a rather haunting presence. He looks so much like his grandfather it's spooky. I saw old ladies at the show that probably saw Hank Sr. back in the day.

He's more interesting live than studio, IMO.
