I say it's about being gay in the modern sense, particularly being a kept guy. "Holes," "stars," and "where the sun doesnt shine" are all slang for the anus. (And Kiss can teach us the implication of "shooting" and "gun.") He's living free and easy through selling his ass. He digs the sex; it takes him to heaven. But he's compelled to talk in synonyms and think in riddles because he's ashamed of his rough trade status, living off the profits of (gay) pride.
